This Cesanese offers a broad olfactory profile that ranges from red fruits to floral hints of violet and Mediterranean scrub that give way to spiciness and balsamic notes typical of black pepper and licorice. Broad on the palate, full-bodied and very persistent, balanced between flavor and freshness. The sip does not tire. A wine with great character. It goes very well with second courses and grilled meat. Also recommended with ragù sauces and mature cheeses.
